The P12 fan used here is near silent and comes within one degree celsius of its performance. Just astonishing the level of performance these fan's have." But hooking the fans directly to the motherboard and to our power supplies there was very little turbulence for these units. The P12 were easily out gunned by the noise levels of my ATi Radeon 3870s." Test verdict: "Now looking at the noise levels of the P12 line is the true charm here. No matter how you wire up these fans you are guaranteed to quietness in a level that is desired by all. I tried out both low-noise adaptors also, but frankly the noise at full-speed is already so low that I don't think the reduced speed is necessary unless you're going for a silent PC build.
