There are 4 types of 6pin and 8pin PCIE adapters because different GPU manufacturers mount the PCIE connectors facing different directions. Also, what you are connecting to on the other end may have the connectors facing a different direction such as the SC PowerBoard. Select from the adaptor range after planning out the motherboard and GPU you are using, if you are using horizontal or vertical GPU mounting and if you are using an SC PowerBoard.

Installation:
Install onto the GPU PCIE connectors. We have 4 different types for 6pin and 8pin PCIE with connectors facing different ways. U+U stands for Up Up meaning both connectors are facing up, D+D stands for Down Down meaning the connectors are both facing downwards, and so on. When selecting the version you need, check which way the PCIE connectors on your GPU are facing and decide how you want to mount your GPU horizontally or vertically. Also if you are using an SC PowerBoard you can check which way the connectors are facing on the PowerBoard version you are using. Then you can select the SC Adaptors which suit your configuration for clean cable runs which are not twisted.
