The EVGA E1 is an extremely unique open case featuring a Carbon Fiber frame that significantly benefits from our PowerBoard and Distribution Plate. The E1, characterized by minimal cable management, exposes all cables from both sides of the case. With the PowerBoard, cable management is perfected, becoming almost unnecessary. Integrated PWM and ARGB hubs reduce cable and hub clutter. Three direct-connect 2.5” SATA mounts eliminate the need for SATA Power Cables. With x18 integrated ARGB LEDs, extra LED strips become unnecessary. The PowerBoard also has other integrated features like a touch activated power button, additional power, and reset buttons.
Singularity Computers PowerBoard:
Introducing the Singularity Computers PowerBoard (US Patent Pending #547249821) a completely new take on computer cables and cable management. The idea first came about during the development of our first case Spectre 1.0. We were looking for a far more advanced method of integrating cables and cable management. The PowerBoard is essentially a distribution plate for cables. It integrates and routes the 24pin, EPS and PCIE cables very close to the components so that standardized short cables can be used. This means that cable management is no longer necessary. It integrates ARGB and PWM hubs and on some PowerBoards SATA. The PowerBoard also has integrated ARGB LEDs placed to light up the PowerBoard and/or surrounding components.
The purpose of the PowerBoard is to eliminate the need for cable management, to integrate components into a single clean unit reducing clutter, to create something different which will contribute to a unique build!
The water-cooling loop is also on full display from both sides in the E1. Our distribution plate integrates the reservoir, D5 pump, D5 Pump Top, fill port, drain port, and parts of the cooling loop, greatly reducing tube runs and cleaning up the loop. A separate pump/reservoir combo would be hard to fit into the E1, and it would make it look cluttered with all the extra tube, fittings and connections. Integrated into the distribution plate the reservoir and D5 pump top saves a lot of space and looks cleaner, also optimizing flow.
