Mounting options
The Alphacool ES Distro Plate C1 is specially designed for mounting in Alphacool server racks. It can be in a number of ways and also in series. Alphacool offers special mounting brackets for this purpose in most server racks. The ES Distro Plate C1 is simply mounted with 2 screws. Several C1 Distro Plates can be connected together on the carrier. So you are almost free in the number of components you want to connect via the Distro Plate.
Connection possibilities
The ES Distro Plate C1 has a total of 4 G1/4 connections with 5mm deep threads. There are 2 connections at the front and one connection thread at each front side. Please refer to the enclosed instructions to connect the components correctly. Due to the various configuration options, all components in the loop can be connected to the Distro Plate very easily. Of course, several ES Distro Plates can be connected in series.
Why an ES Distro Plate?
In narrow server cases, it is essential to allow a clean setup of the water cooling loop. If you draw the cooling loop beforehand, you will quickly find the ideal place for the Distro Plate. An ideal place is when all hoses can be laid as straight as possible, bending tubing too tightly should be avoided where possible as it can restrict flow. If components are to be replaced, the use of Alphacool ES quick connectors with external thread is recommended. This way, all components in the loop can be mounted directly to the Distro Plate with quick connectors. This makes the replacement of, for example, one or more radiators very quickly possible. Additional or larger radiators can also be easily integrated or replaced.
