The SILENTstar HD-Single is an active hard disk cooling system with integrated case decoupling and insulation. The external dimensions correspond to the standard CD-Rom case. The hard disks are thus designed, in order to disperse the lost heat over the lateral screwings.
The SILENTstar HD-Single is an active hard disk cooling system with integrated case decoupling and insulation. The external dimensions correspond to the standard CD-Rom case. The hard disks are thus designed, in order to disperse the lost heat over the lateral screwings. Compared to the other products, which are to be found on the market, two cooling blocks of massive copper are tightly screwed at the disk of the HD-Box, in order to damp down and to cool sufficiently over the inert mass of approx. 2kg. The impact sound can be damped down by decoupling, as well as the airborne sound by the closed case of the HD-Box, which is provided with sound proofing in the interior (foam and coated mats).
