The EPDM tube from Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions series is particularly durable compared to conventional PVC tubing due to its high resistance to acids, bases and external influences. The matte black hose with its subtle velvet look is sure to catch the eye in any water-cooled PC.
Advantages of EPDM
Compared to commercially available PVC tubing, the Alphacool EPDM Tube is significantly more temperature resistant, enabling operating temperatures well above 100°C. Even at higher water temperatures, the EPDM tube remains dimensionally stable and prevents warping at points with tighter bending radii or connections. This eliminates the risk of the water loop leaking or water flow being obstructed. The high resistance to external influences makes the Alphacool EPDM tube extremely durable and long-lasting.
Installation
While the Alphacool EPDM tube is slightly more dimensionally stable than PVC tubing, it still has excellent pliability and flexibility for effortless assembly, even with tighter bending radii.
Fittings
The EPDM Tube is compatible with all tube fittings (in the appropriate size) from the Alphacool Eiszapfen or HF series.
