Since most PSU's only have an 8 or 4-pin this adapter can change the AUX cable (if your PSU has this) to 4-pin 12V.Can be used for boards likethe Supermicro H8DCi and H8DC8 (opteron 940 boards). This adapter is NOT to be used with 6-pin PCI Express cables! Cable is about 6 inches long.
